Hi, I’m Coach Denise!

I’m the founder of DEFINE. With an M.Ed., credentials as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and certifications in nutrition and strength training (PN1-SSR, NASM-CPT), I built DEFINE to help women with nutrition guidance, personal training, and building healthy habits.

Through online coaching, I work 1:1 with women to support them in transforming both their minds and bodies.

I use evidence-based strategies rooted in behavioral science and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients create lasting change. Nutrition is unique for each person — it’s about learning what works for your body and lifestyle. I believe strength training is a way to build muscle, confidence, and resilience.

My coaching philosophy centers on alignment: building habits that honor your values, support your goals, and help create the life you want to live.

Outside of coaching, you’ll usually find me spending time with the people I love, trying new foods, working out, or exploring new places. I value kindness, curiosity, effort, connection, and living fully — and I bring those into everything I do.

I offer science-backed nutrition guidance tailored to your goals, your lifestyle, and the foods that bring you joy — including those tied to your culture and environment. Whether it’s structured macro tracking or a more intuitive approach, the focus is always on fueling your body in a way that supports your individualized needs.

Personal training.

I build functional, intentional programs that support the way you want to move. Strength isn’t just about lifting heavier — it’s about moving well, moving often, and making it work for your lifestyle. I define strength with you, based on your goals, your schedule, and what your body needs to feel strong, capable, and confident.

Your life.

This is where behavior science meets real-life application. I use evidence-based strategies, including principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help you build a values-aligned life — one grounded in clarity, consistency, and choice. We will work on awareness, emotional flexibility, and committed action — so the way you eat, move, and live supports who you are and what matters most. Most importantly, you will get to define success in a way that feels true to you — the one that feels whole, present, and fulfilled.
